WeAreChangeLA breaks bread with Professor of Sociology, Sonoma State University and Director of Project Censored, Peter Phillips. The conversation is intense. There is nothing like sitting down and talking about topics that matter with people who know what they’re talking about. Peter, you are the real deal. We’re proud to know ya.

On April 27, 2008, Philip Shenon, former investigative journalist at the New York Times and author of “The Commission: The Uncensored History of the 9-11 Commission” spoke on a panel at the LA Times Book Fair titled “Checks and Balances.” Jeremy Rothe-Kushel of WeAreChangeLA asked him a question regarding how best to resolve the treasonous condition of the ongoing 9-11 cover-up. After the panel, instead of signing books, he came to speak with a group of 9-11 truth folks.

The conversation was wide-ranging regarding the numerous facts that show the official conspiracy theory of 9-11-01 (i.e. OBL + KSM +19 + laptops) to be more full of holes than thermate-eaten steel. This video contains sections of the conversation regarding evidence the apparently interrupted Israeli false-flag terror attempt on the Mexican Parliament on 10-10-01, Michael Scheuer’s take on this and 9-11, and the lack of evidence for the “incompetence theory.”

A note on terminology: At points in this video, the group of Israelis who were seen celebrating (more…)

On July 18, 2008, Latino leaders in local and national politics converged upon the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown LA to discuss a whole array of issues from a progressive Latino perspective. Attending this event, among others were a few Congresspeople. I got a chance to catch up with Representative Grace Napolitano, from Norwalk, CA, and let her know about the information we had delivered to federal judge George H. Wu on July 11, 2008 regarding the treasonous implications for the executive and legislative branches of the ongoing 9-11 cover-up. Although somewhat evasive about her own responsibility as a Congressperson, she did say at one point that the Congress knew the executive branch was guilty of treason, without elaborating, and also said she would pass the information to her friend, Representative Silvestre Reyes of Texas, who is the Chair of the House Intelligence Committee.

You can pursue this avenue of action by both contacting your Representative about the misprision of treason law in relationship to the treasonous cover-up of 9-11 and by submitting a letter, with backing information, to federal judges, state judges and/or your state’s governor.

Congressman Brad Sherman held another Town Hall Meeting in the Los Angeles area, and his constituents are not happy about the state of the economy.

WeAreChangeLA challenges

1) the Congressman’s staff when they try to restrict the First Amendment rights of a member of the impeachment movement

2) the Congressman himself, to look at the First Responders Legislation now in the House

3) the Congressman himself, to stop sidestepping the issue and look at the evidence that 9-11 was a staged event

Barack Obama is the protégé of Zbigniew Brzezinski, the master geostrategist of the Establishment. With his puppet in place, Brzezinski will be able to carry out many of his wildest dreams, which includes a confrontational posture towards the powers of the East, Russia and China.

We Are Change Ohio confronted Obama in Berea, Ohio on August 5, 2008 in an effort to get real answers from this polished candidate. Obama provided an evasive and unimpressive answer to a question about the fiat currency system employed by the private Federal Reserve. After the session, Obama was also asked about Brzezinski’s 1997 book The Grand Chessboard, which lays out what has come to fruition during the past eleven years, including the establishment of a “widely perceived direct external threat” which would help propel the U.S. forces into capturing control of Central Asia.

Let me introduce to you my family and your Power to the People Committee!

My mother and father, Billy and Leola McKinney.

My son, Coy, who just graduated from college in Canada!

I want you to know that there is no way I could do this without their love and support.

Your Power to the People Committee members who are with us today:

You’ve all shared e-mails with her and heard her lovely voice on the telephone: Lucy Grider-Bradley, the campaign manager of my 2004 comeback campaign and FEC Compliance team leader for the Power to the People Committee!

I’ve known him all of my political life. You’ve known him for years if you’re a Green party member. Hugh Esco, website man with the Power to the People Committee!

In two long road trips from Georgia to Maine, one trip through California, Oregon, and Washington, and by way of numerous e-mails, you all have come to know my friend, personal assistant, proud Haitian-American activist, et aussi, l’homme avec qui je pratique mon français, David Josué, standing firm against the occupation of Haiti.

John Judge is my friend. He shared U.S. government COINTELPRO documents with me that few except researchers have ever seen. John Judge is an expert on the murders of Malcolm X, John Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., Bobby Kennedy, COINTELPRO, other government covert operations directed at certain U.S. citizens, and what really happened on 9/11. Maybe John can tell me how our military and intelligence infrastructures failed four times in one day after the taxpayers invested trillions of dollars in them.

Janet Young, proud accountant for the Power to the People Committee! Learned the true meaning of politics when she saw what happened to me after I put impeachment on the table.

The Q & A is preceded by a short statement by Kucinich on his latest impeachment article, and some info on 911truth.org’s grassroots activism. The questions typed out below are the written versions provided to Kucinich, and may vary slightly from what you hear in the audio;

Paul: There are millions of Americans working to reclaim their government. Whether the issue is impeachment, voter fraud, a new 9/11 investigation, or ending and preventing wars, the American people seem to have no voice in their own government. They have protested, educated, presented an impeachment petition with more than 1 million signatures from a former attorney general. Numerous polls show all time low support for Congress, the President and the direction the country is going. Given these facts, we have 2 questions:What prevents members of Congress from taking the action they know is necessary and demanded by the people? For example, why are there only have 7 co-sponsors on your impeachment bill when we know more representatives than that actually support it?What is the single, most powerful strategy to reclaim our government?

Representative Kucinich: Well, these are very good questions. I think what prevents Congress from moving forward is a sense of fear. Fear of, what do you do when you start to exercise power? I mean, think about it, it’s a classic story of a condition where people who have power, are afraid to use it, and then they forget that they have it, and when they’re told to use it, they don’t know how. This article of impeachment helps Congress regain its rightful role, not just as a co-equal branch of government, the Founders provided Congress would be established first, in a sense it has a superior position. We have to move away from this imperial presidency, away from a nation on a war path, away from a reach for empire and military build-ups, and return to a more humble position in world affairs, where we deal with the matters that people care about, their health, their housing, their education, their environment.

But America’s first gonna have to go through a period of Truth and (more…)

Republican presidential candidate John McCain was asked Thursday his opinion of an attempt to impeach President Bush. His answer shouldn’t surprise anyone.

If nothing else, the fact that a question was even asked shows that McCain’s campaign doesn’t do as rigorous a job as President Bush’s handlers do in weeding out unfriendly questioners from town hall meetings.

“I appreciate this opportunity, Mr. McCain, to ask you a question,” said a man attending the town hall meeting at Xavier University in Ohio. “Part one is in regards to the articles of impeachment brought up by Kucinich for Bush. What your stance is on that as far as manipulated intelligence to form the policy. And then the second is Professor Gadsby from Arizona was outside your office for sixteen days and didn’t eat solid foods. I was wondering if you agreed to meet with him for the two hours he requested or does he have to be a corporate owner with multi-million dollars to meet with you.”

The Republican senator laughed.

(The Politico) Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.), one of the most vocal opponents of the Bush administration on Capitol Hill, said Scott McClellan’s book and testimony justify the beginning of impeachment hearings against Vice President Dick Cheney.

During questioning of McClellan, Wexler asked the former White House press secretary if he believed Bush authorized the leaking of Valerie Plame Wilson’s name. When McClellan said no, Wexler said this meant that Cheney must have been the source of the leak, meaning Cheney was seeking to retaliate against the wife of an administration critic. In Wexler’s view, this would be enough to support the initation of impeachment hearings against Cheney immediately.

Wexler also suggested that Congress should use its authority under the inherent contempt statute to arrest Andrew Card and Karl Rove if they don’t respond to Judiciary Committee subpoenas.

“We have the power of inherent contempt, and need be, we should use it,” Wexler thundered.
