December 2, 2009- The Morning after President Obama’s Afghanistan Escalation Speech
Tape of Obama’s speech: “This vast and diverse citizenry will not always agree on every issue, nor should we. But I also know that we as a country cannot sustain our leadership, nor navigate the momentous challenges of our time, if we allow ourselves to be split asunder by the same rancor and cynicism, and partisanship that has in recent times poisoned our national discourse.
.
It’s easy to forget that when this war began, we were united, bound together by the fresh memory of a horrific attack, and by the determination to defend our homeland and the values we hold dear. I refuse to accept the notion that we cannot summon that unity again…”
.
CSPAN host Robb Harleston: Some of the split that the President was talking to is referred to in this morning’s Wall Street Journal with this headline: “Critics From Across the Spectrum Rip Plan: Some of Obama’s most loyal backers denounce escalation despite quick draw-down designs, signaling political troubles ahead.” Next up, Columbus Georgia- James, supports the President.
.
James: Yes sir.
.
CSPAN host: Go ahead James.
.
James: Sir, I’m an NCO in the Army right now.
.
CSPAN host: Yes?
.
James: And it bothers me that the American people are not following our President, because we’re trained to follow our leaders, no matter right, wrong or indifferent.
.
CSPAN host: There’s an article, James, in this morning’s New York Times talking about the strain of military service meets the resolve to go on. And in it, they quote a Colonel Viet Luong, who’s the commander of the 3rd Brigade, one of the Army’s most deployed divisions. He says, “It’s tough to go on another deployment, but for us, it’s another mission and we embrace the opportunity to be able to accomplish our mission and do the jobs that we came in the army to do.” Your thoughts.
.
James: Yes sir, I totally agree. And that’s the thing. Being an NCO, I’m a leader myself. And I must, no matter what, I gotta make sure my troops are ready. And it bothers me that the American people don’t follow. And no matter if they dislike or like what he does, because, you know, me, as a leader, I have to take my troops into combat and do what I’m told. And that’s just what I do.
.
CSPAN host: Have you been deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan, James?
.
James: I’ve been there twice sir.
.
CSPAN host: To Afghanistan?
.
James: To Iraq sir.
.
CSPAN host: Ok. Any- Do you know if there are any plans in the pipeline for you to be part of that 30 thousand’s that’s going to Afghanistan.
.
James: I’m not sure right now sir.
.
CSPAN host: Ok, thanks for your call. Let’s move on to Los Angeles- Jeremy opposes the President’s proposal.
.
Jeremy: I prop— I oppose the President’s proposal because I support and defend the Constitution. And I would remind the previous service member who called that the first duty, oath— that was part of the oath that he took- was to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and then, secondly, to follow all orders, if they are lawful. And the reason that I think that opposing the President is to defend the Constitution is because I am looking at historical fact and scientific fact very clearly about where terrorism comes from. And it looks clear that Obama is following his predecessor George W. Bush in committing what, under Article III Section 3 of the Constitution, is defined as treason, giving aid and comfort to the enemies who attacked us on 9/11.
.
And I would just point out the clear and convincing proof of multiple evidence strains of these buildings being brought down in controlled demolitions with living human beings in them—from the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, over a thousand of them, multi—numerous civil and structural engineers, and then, finally, this paper, “Active Thermitic Material Discovered in the Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center…” Anyone can go find it. I, personally, have indicated its presence to the Attorney General, to the Vice President, to Senators and Representatives on both Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, and to my own Congressperson. None of them have disputed the science. None of them will actually respond in any coherent manner. So it is time for the American people and the American soldiers to do their duty and to speak the truth.
After a 20-minute conversation with Congressman Brad Sherman’s office on Friday, October 10, 2009, I hung up the phone not believing what I had just heard. Congressman Brad Sherman represents the 27th district, one of the geographically largest districts in Southern California representing around 600,000 constituents. The congressman’s policy advisor in Washington, Erin Prangley, ignores the question as to how they got there. She kept repeating that the Congressman’s position is expressed by the report published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as recommended by the San Fernando Valley chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
When it comes to the subject of the September 11th terrorist attacks, it appears that many political offices become a Bermuda triangle, where reports are lost and never seen again along with common sense, logic, basic math skills and the desire to protect the rights of the American people. To be fair however this political black hole wasn’t created after 9/11. On September 10th 2001 Donald Rumsfeld gave a press conference where he told the American people that the Pentagon could not account for $2.3 trillion dollars. That is no typo – that’s trillion with a “t”. Of course, the next day almost 3000 Americans lives were lost, along with the World Trade Center ,and the issue of the missing $2.3 trillion got sucked away into the 9/11 black hole.
If one could travel into this sucking vortex and come out on the other side one might be amazed at what one would find. Perhaps E. Howard Hunt’s deathbed confession for being involved in the JFK assassination, Or the reasons why Lt. Col. Michael Aquino (who founded the Temple of Set Church of Satan) would be allowed to work for the U.S. Army psychological warfare department.
Or perhaps we will find the four black box recorders that supposedly vaporized when the airlines struck the towers, keeping in mind of course that one of the hijackers’ passports survived virtually unscathed and found before the collapse of the towers. (Maybe we should be making skyscrapers and black box recorders out of paper.) Or maybe will find the two nano-thermite papers that were delivered to Congressman Brad Sherman’s office.
A nine-member international team of chemists, physicists, and others published a paper in early 2009 entitled “Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 WTC Catastrophe” (hereinafter, the nano-thermite paper). These scientists used the scientific method to analyze samples of World Trade Center dust that could not have been contaminated by cleanup activities at Ground Zero. They found red-gray chips that were attracted by a magnet, examined the various crystalline and non-crystalline structures in the chips, shot electrons into the chips and looked at the X-ray spectra that came out, and heated the samples and watched how they responded. They compares these results to cured paint chips and to known highly advanced energetic nano-materials. They concluded that “the red layer … is active, unreacted thermitic material, incorporating nanotechnology, and is a highly energetic pyrotechnic or explosive material.”
Pardon the inevitable pun: this is an explosive discovery.
When NIST was confronted with the possibility of thermite or other types of explosive or incendiary material, they wrote that “a very large quantity of thermite (a mixture of powdered or granular aluminum metal and powdered iron oxide that burns at extremely high temperatures when ignited) or another incendiary compound would have had to be placed on at least the number of columns damaged (more…)
Urges 49 others to join in combating government’s ‘abuse of authority’
By Chelsea Schilling
Tennessee is urging 49 other states to come together and create a “joint working group between the states” to combat unconstitutional federal legislation and assert state rights.
Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen signed HJR 108, the State Sovereignty Resolution on June 23. According to the Tenth Amendment Center, the resolution created a committee to form a joint working group between the states to enumerate the abuses of authority by the federal government and seek repeal of imposed mandates.
State Rep. Susan Lynn recently wrote a letter to the other 49 state legislatures, inviting them to join the group and warning that the role of the federal government has been “blurred, bent and breached.”
“The national government has become a complex system of programs whose purposes lie outside of the responsibilities of the enumerated powers and of securing our natural rights; programs that benefit some while others must pay,” Lynn wrote. “Today, the federal government seeks to control the salaries of those employed by private businesses to change the provisions of private of contracts, to nationalize banks, insurers and auto manufacturers, and to dictate to every person in the land what his or her medical choices will be.”
She continued, “Forcing property from employers to provide healthcare, legislating what individuals are and are not entitled to, and using the labor of some so that others can receive money that they did not earn goes far beyond securing natural rights, and the enumerated powers in the Constitution.”
Lynn said that the people created the federal government to be their agent only for certain enumerated purposes.
“The Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that which has been delegated by the people to the federal government, and also that which is absolutely necessary to advancing those powers specifically enumerated in the Constitution of the United States,” she wrote. “The rest is to be handled by the state governments, or locally, by the people themselves.”
She noted that the Constitution does not include a congressional power to override state laws, nor does it give the judicial branch unlimited jurisdiction over all matters. Attempts to include such provisions in the Constitution were rejected by the Founding Fathers.
“With this in mind,” she wrote, “any federal attempt to legislate beyond the Constitutional (more…)
