Guess what? Not all presidential candidates are taking their cues on 9/11 from Bush and his accomplices. Chuck Baldwin, from the Constitution Party, made a brief but quite exciting statement on 9/11: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TCun2nzZ17k. It is certainly milder than what many of us know or would like to hear, but at least it supports the contention that 9/11 has not been properly explained.

So, may I suggest some homework?

• Encourage Baldwin to get bolder on 9/11 and make it an important part of his campaign by webmailing him at https://secure.giftwrapplus.org/b08/eu/contactus/; irrespective of what you may think of the issues he champions, the more people ask him to emphasize 9/11, the more likely he is to do so.
• Webmail the McCain campaign (http://www.johnmccain.com/Contact/) and/or the Obama campaign (http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/contact2); provide them with the URL of Baldwin’s statement, http://youtube.com/watch?v=TCun2nzZ17k, and ask why you should support them instead of Baldwin’s campaign. Here also, irrespective of how much you may like or dislike McCain & Obama’s ideas, the more they hear of 9/11 as a campaign issue, the likelier they are to address it.

Who knows? If Baldwin believes that emphasizing 9/11 can give him a credible standing in the polls, he may do just that, in which case Obama and McCain may feel enough pressure to start talking of 9/11, forcing the media to follow and bringing the problem closer to a satisfactory resolution.
